The first high performance headlamp with a separate battery

As the first high performance headlamp with a separate battery case of Nitecore, HC70 is able to challenge any unknown cave. The overall design is simple and durable, making itself the optimal caving headlamp comprehensively from the headlamp, battery case to efficient constant circuit.

The die-cast unibody headlamp minimizes the load bearing of user’s head and provides flexible operation; multiple cooling fins ensure remarkable performance. With 2 standard USB connection ports, the battery case can supply power for other devices independently.

The all-metal battery case is impact and wear-resistant, suitable for multiple scenarios and can serve as a power bank. Nitecore suggests to use the battery case with the low temperature performance battery for it can preserve heat when it is placed in backpack or pocket to adapt to the low temperature or cold area. High efficient constant circuit designed for extending runtime to cope with harsh environments.

Keeping the lightweight-purpose in mind, the headlamp only weighs 3.45oz, utilizing a CREE XM-L2 U2 LED to emits 8300cd of max beam intensity, 182 meters of max beam distance and 220 hours of runtime. The flood lighting system produces a wide 90°beam angle.

With a Micro-USB input, the battery case can receive power from various devices (including solar panel) and store in batteries. It also serves as a power bank for emergency and charges 2 devices simultaneously via the USB output ports, max output up to 2.1A.

Distinguished from materials of other headlamps, the cable of HC70 is constructed from high strength nylon material, wear-resisting and durable. The high quality material protects the cable from damage caused by rub in caving.

IP67 rating and 1.5 meters impact resistant, optics lens with anti-reflective coating, aero grade aluminum alloy with HAIII military grade hard-anodized finish, which make HC70 the ideal headlamp for caving and operation in cold area.
